🔈 Minima Update v1.0.25 There is an updated version of Minima available now for you on Docker, jar, and Android. This version addresses some of the recent memory/restoring/syncing issues we have seen. Release notes: > - New Restore function coupled with sync for old backups - this reduces the memory required for processing an old backup > - Large TxPoW causes no send, error message returned - this prevents large blocks (over 64kb) from being created > - Large TxPoW now not forwarded - this prevents large blocks (over 64kb) from being propagated > - Stability and bug fixes. *Some lower powered devices may still struggle with seed resyncs, we are continuing to work on optimising the application.* If you are experiencing issues with your node, please go through the following instructions 1️⃣ Check your battery **settings (Huawei/Redmi/ZTE) as per previous announcement 2️⃣ Wait a while** - if you have just come back online, please wait for your node to reconnect to the network and sync to the tip block. This shouldn't take long but varies depending on your connections, recommend waiting 10 mins. 3️⃣ If your node does not catch up automatically, ShutDown **the node from the Health page menu, then reopen the app and allow it time to sync to the tip. 4️⃣ If still cannot reach the top block, **restore a recent backup Archive re-syncs should always be a last resort, and should only be used if the above steps don't work for you: 5️⃣ Chain Re-sync (Archive page) - Does not wipe the node, only resyncs from genesis to the tip block 6️⃣ Seed Re-sync (Archive page) - Wipes the node and recreates all your keys and wallet addresses then resyncs from genesis to the tip block If your node is crashing, reinstall the app and restore from a backup or do a seed re-sync. Once your node is in sync, take regular backups of your node. There are video tutorials on youtube and information at docs.minima.global. Another reminder to never clear the app data - this will remove the node completely and wipe your wallet.
